How would you define your style?
Our approach combines candid moments and timeless artistic portraits infused with editorial flair. We strive for a light, breezy feel while staying true to the essence of each unique wedding and event.
Do you take inputs from the client?
Prior to the wedding, we'll collaborate to define our shared vision, discuss preferred styles for photos and videos, identify specific moments and individuals you especially want captured, and welcome any reference materials you'd like to share. While we aim to align with your preferences, we also bring our unique point of view and style, which is why you chose us in the first place. We'll do our best to capture your sensibilities while staying true to our artistic boundaries.
What is your policy on taking breaks?
We endeavor to capture every detail and every moment of your wedding day, from the preparations to the late-night festivities. This commitment often keeps us busier than anyone else at the event. Our team takes short breaks between events to rest and recharge. We typically schedule these breaks strategically or find natural pauses during the celebrations. Rest assured, these brief respites won't hinder us from capturing all the precious moments of your wedding.
How long have you been in the wedding industry?
Each member of our team boasts a minimum of 5 years' experience in the wedding industry. Established in 2021, HSP has successfully captured the magic of over 80 weddings to date.
How are raw and edited pictures different?
Photos straight from the camera aren't ready to hang on your wall—unless it's a Polaroid, of course. In reality, professional SLR cameras capture bland images, serving as a blank canvas for artistic freedom. This allows us to stylise them to our taste. We meticulously balance colour, adjust exposure, crop, and straighten every image in your collection. Portraits of the couple undergo minor blemish removal as necessary. For more extensive edits, additional charges per image may apply upon request. After the final submission of all deliverables, all of the raw data from the wedding is delivered to you on a hard drive.
How many hours of shooting is covered in the package?
We understand that Indian wedding days can be lengthy, so we strategically stagger our team when we anticipate extended hours to ensure comprehensive coverage without exhausting our team members. However, if the total team coverage exceeds 15 hours in a day, an additional cost of Rs. 20,000 per hour will apply. Events starting before 6 am or extending past 1.30 am the next day will also incur an additional cost of Rs. 15,000 per hour.
What is your team size?
The size of our team is tailored to meet your specific needs for the day. Alongside our booked photographers and cinematographers, we may include 1-2 assistants and 1 producer. For outstation weddings, we ensure clear communication and agreement in advance regarding the team composition.
What is the difference between a teaser, trailer, and film?
A teaser captures a brief, enchanting glimpse of your wedding, usually under a minute in duration. It might feature your dreamy bridal entry, tender moments between the couple, highlights from the lively after-party, or a montage of behind-the-scenes preparations. We can provide these teasers in vertical format upon request, perfect for sharing on platforms like Instagram Reels. In contrast, a trailer spans 3 to 6 minutes and offers a compelling preview of the most thrilling and significant moments from your entire wedding day. Think of it as a captivating trailer for your full wedding film, which is a more comprehensive 15 to 30-minute video that beautifully chronicles all the key events and emotions of your special day.
Do you charge extra for travel?
We do not charge extra for travel within Mumbai. For outstation bookings, point-to-point conveyance fees will apply. These details will be discussed and agreed upon in advance.
